About This Play/Drill

Here is another way that Mexico likes to get the ball to the top of the key for a pick and roll. Mexico also likes to use short rolls in the post instead of the classic roll/replace action.

  • Basketball Play - Mexico - Slice PNR
  • Basketball Play - Mexico - Slice PNR

  • 2 cuts up from the block to the top of the key and gets the ball from 1.

  • 4 sets a ball-screen for 2 at the top of the key on the catch.

     

    4 rolls and 5 makes a short roll under the basket.
