This play is a quick hitter and is used as a read against the defense. If the defense jumps out to hedge, the ball screener can slip to the rim for an easy layup.
1 dribbles up the left sideline as 4 moves over to set a screen.
4 slips to the rim as x4 jumps out to hedge.
