  • 4 corners offense. We love using this offense at the end of games. We have 1 as our chaser in the middle. 2, 3 are at the top corners and wide with 4, 5 in the bottom corners. 1's job is to get to the basket and force one of the defenders to help. Here x2 helps and 1 kicks it out to 2 in the top corner. 1, after passing moves to Mid Area to create spacing.
  • Here, 2 after receiving ball, looks to attack the basket. We want her to attack THE OPPOSITE ELBOW. 2 beats X2 and forces X3 to help. When X3 helps 2 kicks it to 3 on top corner. We teach the guards to catch and face and wait for the defender to sprint close out and then attack her hip.
  • In this frame 3 attacks the basket and looks to get to the opposite elbow. If X1 helps then 3 looks to kick to 1 and the offense continues.
  • If 1 gets by her defender X1 then she looks to score. If she gets to the elbow, then she is looking to score. If X4 comes and helps then 1 will kick to 4 in the corner.
  • When X4 stops 1 drive, 1 will kick it to 4 in the corner. This option is open a lot
  • CORNER OPTION. If 4 gets the ball in the corner she can drive. She can pass inside to 5who makes a POST FLASH across the lane. Or she can pass out to 1 who makes her cut to the Mid Area.
