One of the staples of the Michigan offense is this STRONG SHUFFLE STS action. STS stands for Screen The Screener. If Michigan runs it, and the shooter is not open off of the down screen, then they are set up for a step-up spread ball screen.

1 passes to 3
1 cuts to strong side corner
5 screens 2
2 cuts to mid post

3 passes to 5
5 reverses the ball to 4

2 screens for 3
3 shuffle cuts to the block
5 screens the screener (2)
2 comes to the top for a three
