Four Low
From the Four Low Alignment...
4 sprints out to set ball screen on 1. SPRINT! The goal is to "arrive alone" at the ball screen.
Set screen then pop opposite
We want two on the ball! When we have two on the ball, 1 throws back to 4
Four Low
5 must relocate opposite the pop to clear the lane.
Get to the "Dunker's Spot"
NOTE: Other terms for Dunker's Spot: The Porch, Short Corner, Lob Spot, "In your room"
If we successfully got two on the ball, 4 has a momentary 2v1 on the throwback catch. Adhere to the following reads...
If X3 runs at ball or freezes in "no man's land" (shown), make the extra pass to corner shooter
4 may look at 3 prompting the blast cut from the corner and wing entry. 3 may rip and go or...
4 may follow into a wing ball screen
If X3 stunts up, 3 back cuts = backdoor pass
X3 may stay attached to the corner player. Be prepared to shoot as soon as you receive the throwback pass. Or attack the double gap with the drive
Drive and Kick - If X3 helps off the corner, kick to shooter
"see chest, think pass"
Drop - If X5 helps, drop to 5 in the dunkers spot. This may be a lob/dunk, bounce pass. It will vary
Skip - On the drive X5 helps, X2 helps the helper. 2 lifts from corner a bit and we throw the skip
"STACKS" Entry
An example of a stack entry to the high ball screen concpet
From this point the same reads would apply
We've now created the 2v1 vs. X2
