This play is designed for an undersized team. Took this from a scout on a non-conference opponent that was in the NJCAA top 10 in the country in points per game this past season. Our opponent played a fast-paced game similar to Iona in the past years.
- 1 passes to 3 who passes back to the 1. Quick reversal pass to the 2. 1 cut down the middle and fill to opposite corner. 3 & 4 sprint to fill open spots (wing & top).
- 2 passes to 3 at top of key. 4 flashes to elbow. 1 will lift from corner.
- 4 replace 1 spot in corner. On flight of pass from the 3 to 1, 5 will sprint across the lane into a ball screen.
- 3 & 2 will fill open spots (corner & wing) 1 is coming off ball screen looking to penetrate & score or drive and kick to 3 point shooter in the corner.
