  • 2 go through to other other side before the pass to the 5

    Our 4-5 need to do a good job at getting open to receive the pass and face the hoop straight away looking for our first option
  • 3 needs to be ready to cut off 4's screen and score the layup, if 3 doesn't get it then continues to the strong side corner

    Our 4-5 need to use good jab fakes and ball fakes to allow space to pass
  • As soon as our wing player comes off 4's screen, 4 needs to go straight away to set a back screen on for 1, this is our 2nd scoring option

    If 1 doesn't get the ball then fills the weak side corner
  • After 4 has set the back screen, immediately goes and sets another screen for our weak side wing player

    5 needs to get their timing correct on the dribble hand off to make this effective. The correct timing on your dribble is when 4 goes across to set the screen for our wing. Once again our bigs need to use jab fakes and head fakes to create the lane to hand off

    Our wing player 2, waits until 4 sets the screen then comes off straight away looking for the hand off from 5 and turns the corner for the attacking lay up

    If 2 doesn't get the lay up they create space and dribbles to the wing ready for the next option
  • After 4 screens and 5 hands off to our 2, they both set our stagger screen for 1 man coming out of the corner

    Its very important that 1 man sets up his defensive player by walking him him

    It's also important that 4 and 5 set the screen low so we get a good jump shot around the free throw area and not out side the 3 point area
