This play was run by the New Orleans Pelicans on their home opener against the Indiana Pacers, trying to get the ball to Eric Gordon off a downscreen. The Pelicans have an interesting offense, trying to stretch the floor with their face-up big men, which are plentiful on their roster.

1 (Holiday) hits 3 (Aminu) on the wing, then pops back off a shallow pin from the trailer 4 (Jason Smith).

5 (Stiemsma) raises into a sprint ballscreen for 1; 2 (Gordon) and 4 engage in a cross screen. 5 then sets a downscreen for 2. This is the screen the screener cross screen/ down screen action.
