The Denver Nuggets ran this play during the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Puts pressure on the defense with multiple back screens as the shooter (1) can get free as well sprinting into the handoff.
- The 5 sets a backscreen for the 1 as the 4 handles the ball drawing the rim protection defenders away from the hoop.
- The 4 reverses the ball to the 5.
- The 1 sets a backscreen for the 4 to get a layup.
- The 1 immediately sprints out of the screen to get the handoff for a shot, a drive, or pocket pass to the 5 on the roll.
