5 Open set

This is a quick hitter that gets your best shooter a shot coming off a staggered screen.

Based on R&R Layer 1 rules every pass is a basket cut which we use to screen the defender.

1 will pass to 4 and cut.

4 will quickly pass to 2 and cut. This is to keep 3's defender on the help line.

5 would normally replace 1 at the top of the key and 3 would move to the wing but for this set we are slowly moving them.

After the pass from 4, 1 is going to loop behind 2 to the corner.

2 dribbles baseline hard. 3's defender should be the helper waiting at the block.

Option 1:

2 jumps out of bounds and hits 3 in opposite corner

2 dribbles baseline hard. 3's defender should be the helper waiting at the block.

Option 2:

On 4's cut he Linebacker screens (3fromthecorner.com) and 5 sets a "clean-up" screen for 3.

2 reverses pivots and passes back to 3
