About This Play/Drill

This set was run by the Chicago Bulls in the 2006-2007 season. This set is designed to get a lay up for your post player or a three point shot for your point guard. In this screen the screener action, your point guard will have to head hunt and set a good screen on 4's man, in order to get a wide open shot.

  • Basketball Play - Double Back Screen/Down Screen

  • 1. 4 cuts to the wing and receives pass from 1.

    2. 1 cuts to the hoop and then, cuts out above the block.

    3. 3 cuts off of 5's screen, 5 pops to the top of the key.

  • 1. 4 passes to 5, 5 passes to 2.

    2. 4 cuts off of 3 and 1's double back screen to the rim.

    3. Option 1 - 2 passes to 4 for a lay up or post up.

    4. 1 runs off of 5's down screen to the top of the key.

    5. Option 2 - 2 passes to 1 for a three point shot.
