Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a misdirection set to create a gap drive. Using a slice screen to create a catch at the top the key, the action flows one way then peels back for a double gap attack. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of a 4-out alignment. The slice screen into the stagger is not original, but I think hard curling the first stagger and then running a second stagger is very interesting. It may take some time to develop, but I think it's likely the second player off the staggers can be open. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of a box alignment. I like how quickly this set play gets to the point. Screen the screener actions can be tough to defend, especially for teams that get through off the ball screens. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at an isolation drive out of the Princeton alignment. The set uses a series of back screens to create movement, and then slip the ball right in the middle of the floor to a post to isolate. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at set play out of a Princeton alignment. This is the standard chin and false go, action except we hit the big at the elbow and let them go to work. This pass is open a lot because teams use x5 to help on the cutting and screening action so often. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of a 2-1-2 alignment. This play gives a forward a nice opportunity to drive double gap to score or kick to a shooter in the corner. This play is best used in a series where the ball is entered the same way, but the hand off actually takes place. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a series of plays out of the Princeton alignment that start with a stack. These plays work well together, all have minor tweaks to make them different but are simple to execute. Building this series around a dynamic driver is a wise thing to do. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at play design for a point guard to drive the ball to an empty baseline. They can decide to drive as an isolation, or to skip the pass to the back side for a hammer set. Either way, the defense is misdirected with the fake hand off, and stretched side to side with the hammer action. This set is gold.
