Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, Tyus Jones attacks from left to right off of a high ball-screen with an overload on the left side of the floor. The open space puts even more pressure on Kaminsky to stop the penetration and guard the roll. Jones came off of the ball-screen as if he was going to attack the rim, but instead pulled up at the elbow using Koenig's momentum against him. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 1:36 left in the game vs. Wisconsin, Tyus Jones hit a huge 3-point shot to put the Blue Devils up 66-58. The play started with Jones dribbling to the left as Winslow looped around to set up for a ball-screen. Jones waved off Winslow sending him out to the wing. Okafor sprints up to set a ball-screen for Jones. Koenig goes over the top of the screen and Kaminksy is moving backwards as Okafor rolls leaving just enough room for Jones to pull up for a 3-point shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a nice little ATO set that can be used in late game situations or when you need a basket. Starting in a 1-4 High alignment can allow for the defense to be vulerable to the back door cut. Nonetheless the ball screen actions will draw a lot of attention and allow for the three on the wing or the reversal and throw inside. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawInspired by the Spurs, the NCAA has been full of late game "Hammer/Baseline Drift" sets to try and get a look for a 3. Here is Virginia's late game Hammer set to get a 3 late against Michigan State. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a nice 1-4 Low set that gives your the inital option to have your point or lead guard take his man off the bounce. As that is playing out the other players create some movement to have defense looking to defend cutters. You can get a nice Hi-Lo out of your post game or catch and shoot option for your wings. Favorite Send to FastDrawTennessee-Martin 4 Low. UTM coach Heath Schroyer drew this BLOB set up for the game winner against Eastern Kentucky to send the Skyhawks to the Final Four of the CIT. The Skyhawks had the ball with 6.3 seconds left down 2. Marshun Newell (2) sets to inbound the basketball. The set begins with the first option which is a triple stagger for a guard coming from the opposite corner to the ball side corner. After he was covered he cleared toward half court. Chandler Rowe (5) is the final screener. He opens up to catch the entry pass just inside the 3 pt. line. After the catch Newell sprints in to take the DHO and hits the game winning 3 from the corner. Favorite Send to FastDrawCincinatti ran this play after Purdue turned over the ball late in the second half. It is important that the second cutter curls around the screen shoulder to shoulder. Cincinatti successfully ran this and scored an AND1 off 2's cut - cutting Purdue's lead to 3 with 41.5 seconds remaining. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAs many high school teams are deep into their state tournaments and as college teams prepare for their conference tournaments (and for some lucky teams the NCAA tournament as well), it is vital to be practicing “time and score” situations daily. If you and your team have been working on these scenarios throughout the year, you are in great position to execute them properly down the stretch. Here we have the situation where we must miss a FT and get an offensive rebound. This is something that must be practiced and can't just be drawn up in a huddle. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn the spirit of March Madness, let's take a trip back in time to 1998 when Bryce Drew hit the game winning shot over Ole Miss. The play starts with 2.5 seconds left on the clock and Valpo down by 2 points. Homer Drew draws up a brilliant last-second play throwing the ball the length of the court to his 4 man. While in the air, Bill Jenkins made the pass to Bryce Drew on the wing. Bryce Drew hit the shot sending Valpo on their Cinderella run to the Sweet 16. The Crusaders were a #13 seed defeating #4 seed Ole Miss. Valpo will open the tournament against Maryland today. Bryce is now the head coach of the Crusaders. Just for kicks, I threw in a counter option with the inbounder running the baseline. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUPSET ALERT: Coach Haase called this BLOB play in the closing minutes of the game against Iowa State. The shooter starts at the opposite block and sets an up-screen to start the play. After setting the up-screen, 2 slips in between the elevator screen from 4 and 5. 1 makes the entry pass to 2 for an open 3-point shot on the wing. See More
