Favorite Send to FastDrawCoach Jim Larranaga wants to play up-tempo and score in transition. This year they have concentrated more on getting the ball inside the paint more. Even though it has a modern day (4 Out) look it still has an old fashion (inside-out) approach to basketball. To execute this plan they use a variety of ball screen type action and roll/replace concepts. Having a very good point guard that can drive and shoot makes this tough to defend. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a quick hitter that Buffalo used early in the first half against Miami that lead to the getting a wide open three. They did a great job out of the 1-4 set at creating space for quick penetration or the kick for three. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKansas coach Bill Self runs a Flex action out of 1-4 low formation when the ball is under their own bucket. Help defense on the first Flex screen is rarely in good position when the ball is inbounded underneath, and the man guarding the inbounder can get too attached to the inbounder. It's a great way to get into Flex, especially with other inbound plays out of a 1-4 low package See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawUNCW ran Loop action several times against Duke in the 1st half, and this was one play I particularly liked. After two runs off the stagger and receives the ball, 5 cross screens 4 into a side pick and roll. The 4 slips early to the corner for a look at a 3pt shot. This puts a lot of pressure on x4 defensively, but in this particular case, Duke's Ingram just had so much length that he was able to closeout in time to prevent the 3pt shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOregon sometimes goes into a dribble handoff weave before setting the flat ball-screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOregon spreads the floor and has 5 set a flat ball-screen at the top of the key. 1 drives and looks to get to the rim or pass out to open shooters. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a nice rip/shuffle set getting the long guards for Oregon into the post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play isolates the two man action on one side of the floor with a shooter coming off of a staggered screen on the opposite side. This combo action makes it difficult to guard. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play clears out the right side of the floor for the ball-screen at the pinch post. Oregon has long, quick wings and guards who thrive on these type of plays. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis screen the screener play gives you a look at the rim and a shot in the corner. 5 can also dive to the ball after setting the second screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great late game play and the Cavaliers do a good job spacing out the floor with the players wider than normal. It opens up the floor for the ballhandler to create off the dribble. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawVirginia uses this play to get an open look in the corner for 3, then another open look for 4 as 3 drags the ball out. If nothing is there, the ball is reversed and a ball-screen can be set. See More
