Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers love the zipper action to free up #24 Paul George here after he catches the ball #55 Roy Hibbert comes to set the ball screen. They run multiple actions and ball screen spacing out of this zipper set. Here Indiana throws a different look at the Miami Heat and #55 Hibbert slips the screen right to the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis BLOB ran by the Indiana Pacers vs the Miami Heat was run to get two possible results: 1.) #24 Paul George mid-range jumper running off the stagger screens. 2.) #21 David West isolation from the elbow or in. Indiana got it to West in one of his favorite scoring spots, close to the basket so he could operate. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis clear out play can be used to score quickly in three ways. One, as 3 and 5 clear to the right side, 4 catches at elbow and drives left to open side to score. Second option is hand off from 4-1 for penetration by 1. If 4 fakes the hand off, 3 comes out of th corner using screens from 2 and 5. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis double flare start in a three guard alignment with 1 at the point. 2 and 3 flare off screens from 4 and 5. First option is for 2 to take an open three or penetrate. On catch, 4 immediately screens across for 5, as 5 cuts to catch and score. 1 and 3 slide to the left side, leaving the top of the key open for 4 to pop and catch for high low action. Give it a try! Favorite Send to FastDrawBaseline out of bounds play ran by the CT in their 66-62 loss to the Mystics 6/7/13. The play starts off with a familiar box set action. Often when 4 passes to 1, 4 would screen the screener. The Sun flipped the down screeners, having a big screen a little into the lane. Usually a little will screen a big into the lane. This change allowed 2 to run the baseline coming off of 4 and 5's screens. Having the bigs screen the guard on the baseline should prevent a switch. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawA common screen the screener set ran by a lot of High School, College, and NBA teams was used by the Indiana Pacers against the Miami Heat. As you will see in most of Indiana's play sets they run a lot of stuff for their 3 man, #24 Paul George. Here they use George to set the back screen for the post before he runs off 5's screen for a wing catch. He has the option to shoot, drive, or dump it inside to the posting #55 Roy Hibbert. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Miami Heat ran this two plays back to back last in during Game 4 of the NBA Finals versus the San Antonio Spurs. A trend in the NBA that I love and many coaches don't follow (which I don't understand why) is running plays that work in succession. If a play works well once, why not try it again and make your opponent guard it? That is what the Miami Heat did last night, Option 1 was a quick pin down for Ray Allen which led to an easy floater in the lane. The very next possession down the court the Heat ran the same action but the Spurs did a much better job defending and the Heat had to deviate to a different play. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set the Indiana Pacers ran against the Miami Heat in the 2013 Eastern Conference Finals. Looking to get their marquee player, Paul George a isolated post/wing catch the Pacers sent #24 George to the opposite side of the court before coming back hard to the ball on the reversal for deep post position. If #24 George couldn't catch the ball deep he moved out to the mid-wing area for a catch. This is where Indiana ran a great alternative action to get an even deeper post touch. #50 Tyler Hansbrough after entering the ball to George comes down the lane and sets a screen for #55 Roy Hibbert right in the middle of the lane, who now gets a deep post catch right in the middle of the paint. Favorite Send to FastDrawBaseline out of bounds play run by the CT Sun in their 66-62 loss to the Mystics 6/7/2013. If the defense switches the 4 and 2 backscreen then 4 can slip to the basket with the mismatch. If 5's defender extends the screen and disconects from 5, 5 can slip to the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw"Miami Chest" is a ballscreen/flarescreen set to free up your guard for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTook this from one of our conference opponents this past season. This play is best executed with a 5 that is a good passer. End result is a dunk or action for your best player coming off a ball screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play has four scoring options starting with a high post rub cut by 3 off 5. Second, 1 drives off 5's on ball screen to score in the paint. Option #3 is a pass to 3 comig off double screen by 2-4 for a shot. Last option on 3's catch is 2 curling over 4 and 4 sealing to catch and score. Give it a try! See More
