Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set by Wofford has a lot going on, but it is a great action to get an open 3. The set has a pin down, with a return dribble hand off. Following that, it appears to be a double stagger away, but that is rejected. The next misdirection is the potential floppy action, which is twisted at the end, to be a double stagger coming back out for a shot. This is a great set, to open up a good shooter. Wofford beat Seton Hall in the first round, behind their ability to free up their three point shooters. This is just one example of the great actions that they run. Favorite Send to FastDrawSeton Hall battled Wofford in a great game in the First Round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. Seton Hall ran a double drag ball screen, with a strong side down screen. This was all to open up a weak side flare. It is a good action, to get a 3, or a clear out for an isolation to attack off the bounce. #FastModelMadness NCAA Tournament: Viewing Guide by Style of Play See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFlorida won their first round match-up with Nevada. In the 2nd half, they turned to this BLOB set. The set clears the side, behind the ball screen, which opens up the lob. There are multiple options on this set, as 1 reads the help defense, which makes it a great play to put into your playbook. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLouisville made a last ditch effort to get back into their game against Minnesota in the first round of the NCAA tournament with this play designed to get an open three-point shot. 5 comes off of the screen from 4 acting like he is going to set a ball screen. 5 then turns and sets a down screen for 3. 1 has the option to take the shot or pass it to 3 for a look at a three. Favorite Send to FastDrawWofford ran this set in the first half against Seton Hall. They ran it to isolate their big man, Cameron Jackson at the elbow. Jackson was able to drive downhill and draw help and found a cutting teammate for a layup. #FastModelMadness NCAA Tournament: Viewing Guide by Style of Play See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBelmont trailed by 1, with 20 seconds left, in their first round match-up with Maryland. Coach Byrd decided to hold for one shot, and ran the counter to their "Panic Backdoor set." It is a great late clock action, but the ball pressure led to a deflection. It is worth having in your back pocket as a pressure release at the end of games. #FastModelMadness NCAA Tournament: Viewing Guide by Style of Play See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFlorida State ran this after timeout play to look for a lob dunk in the first half of their NCAA tournament game against Vermont. The play was designed for 3 to make an Iverson cut over 4 & 5 but he rejected the screen and still caught the ball on the wing. 4 cuts to the corner to take away a help defender on the lob as 2 sets the back screen for 5. #FastModelMadness NCAA Tournament: Viewing Guide by Style of Play See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set Wofford went to twice in the first half against Seton Hall to get a post touch. The main option is to get the ball into the post and play off of the post, but there is also the option of the popping 4 man on if his man stays with the ball. #FastModelMadness NCAA Tournament: Viewing Guide by Style of Play Blog Post: Mid-Major Teams Poised to Make Noise See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother BLOB from the Florida vs Nevada first round match up. Florida ran this BLOB after running their Flat STS Lob. This made it more difficult to defend because they both are out of the same formation and look similar. The 2 man does a great job of coming off low and tight of the 5 man screen two free himself up for a layup. #FastModelMadness NCAA Tournament: Viewing Guide by Style of Play See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFlorida ran this BLOB in the first half of their game against Nevada. There are multiple options in this play with the first option of the 4 man cutting to the corner. The next option is the lob for the 5 man and this is difficult to defend because it is a guard screening for him. The last option is the 2 man slipping. #FastModelMadness NCAA Tournament: Viewing Guide by Style of Play See More
