The winningest coach in Sun Devil women’s basketball history and No. 2 in the Pac-12 in most career wins (325), Charli Turner Thorne is at the helm of an Arizona State program that has made it to the postseason 14 of the last 15 years, including a school record five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2005-09). ASU’s nine NCAA Tournament appearances under Turner Thorne are six more than what ASU had in the 15 years prior to her arrival in Tempe.

 

This past season, Turner Thorne’s 17th at ASU, the Sun Devils recorded their 10th 20-win season (23) and their ninth NCAA Tournament berth since 2000-01. The Sun Devils advanced to the second round of the Tournament, the seventh time under Turner Thorne the Sun Devils have been among the final 32 teams or better.
