Here is a dribbling drill that we used at Southern CT State University to help our guards negotiate P&R situations
1 dribbles with outside hand (in this diagram, the right hand) to corner cone and executes one of the following dribbles:
A) Behind-The-Back
B) Step Thru
C) Low Crossover
D) Spin
The result should be that the ball is in the opposite hand now (in this diagram, the left hand)
After executing the first dribble move, 1 approaches the second cone and executes the second dribble move with their left hand:
A) Behind-The-Back
B) Step Thru
C) Low Crossover
D) Spin
E) Hesitation (ball will remain in left hand)
After move, player can shoot:
1) Jump Shot
2) Layup
3) Floater
