Coach Kruger has been calling this play more and more lately. It's a smart move, as again it forces the defense to pay attention to Buddy. Having Buddy set the ball-screen is a good strategy, as most teams will not hard hedge in this situation. On the pop, Buddy can go to work at the top of the key.
3 (Hield) cuts off of a screen from 5 and 4 and sets a ball-screen for 1.
2 clears out the left side of the floor for 1 to come off of the ball-screen.
1 looks to pass to 3 popping at the top of the key.
