A wrinkle to a common screen-the-screener play that Austin Peay has run frequently this year, this play is predicated on the defense jamming the middle for the screen-the-screener action. It allows a shooter to leak out to the wing while his defender sags middle to take away the down screen.
1 hits 5 on the elbow and then seeks out 4's defender to raise him to the top of the key
4 swings back to 1, and 5 comes off a shuffle screen from 2 to a strong-side post-up.
Instead of a screen-the-screener action and 2 coming off the down screen, 3 comes off a pin down from 4, while 2 leaks out to the wing to replace him. Amazingly, 2's defender will stay and help or get lost in all the traffic in the lane
