This is part of John Leonzo's Solo Summer Shooting Workout. I recommend making no fewer than 200 shots a day, 6 days a week. Be sure to remind your players that there is no magic in the drills, in the facility, or in the coach that is with them, the magic is in the work. Improvement has a knack for following consistent work ethic and persistence.
Begin in the corner at whatever distance you desire. Toss the ball to the elbow, and the sprint to chase your toss. When catching the ball, pivot left-right and shoot it. Rebound the ball and return to where you shot from.
Self toss the ball to the corner and slide to make the catch. This movement is like a defensive shuffle. Hop into your catch and shoot the ball. Rebound the ball and go to the opposite corner.

Perform for 3 minutes and see how many makes you can get.
