This series of baseline out of bounds plays was submitted to the NHSBCA Playbook by Winning Hoops, courtesy of Mike Feagans from Rensselaer Central HS in Rensselaer, IN. Use the same alignment to run 5 different options and confuse the defense.
When 3 slaps the ball, 4 and 5 come together to set a double screen for 1, who cuts to the opposite block looking for a quick layup. 2 steps back as a safety valve.
When 3 slaps the ball, 4 will cut to the ball side block and 5 will cut to the opposite block. 4 and 5 cross paths to confuse the defense. 2 steps back for the release pass, 1 cuts to the corner.
In this option, 1, 5, 2 and 4 cut to their designated spots as soon as the ball is given to 3.
On this option, 2 sets a screen for 4 cutting to the ball. 2 then runs off a double screen from 5 and 1.
For the final option, 1 steps out along the free-throw line extended to receive the entry pass. 3 steps in to set a screen for 5 cutting to the block. 2 steps out to the top, 4 steps out to the opposite wing.
