A great way to run some time off the clock and limit possesions is to run "false motion" boise state runs some of the best that I have seen. They were able to almost beat UNLV at UNLV while running this down the stretch into 1 of their sets. The most important teaching points for this is to cut to score, short easy passes, and stay high and wide.
1 to 2
1 & 4 cut thru to the block area
3 pops up top for reversal
2 to 3 to 1
4 cuts thru off of 5
3 cuts thru to wing
2 v cuts to the top to catch
1 to 2
4 pops out to wing
Now you are back to how you started and can run whatever you want
