About This Play/Drill

The key to this play is 2 setting a good diagonal screen on 5 forcing his defender to help. This play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season.

1. 1 dribbles down, 4 pops out, 1 passes to 4.

2. 1 cuts towards the opposite corner, 2 starts to cut towards 5 to set him a diagonal screen.
1. 5 cuts off of 2's diagonal screen to the rim.

Option 1 - 4 passes to 5 for a lay up.

2. 2 cuts towards 4 to get a hand off.

Option 2 - 2 creates his own shot off of the hand off from 4.
