About This Play/Drill

The Boston Celtics used this play to get Avery Bradley (2) open for the winning shot in game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the score tied and 10.7 seconds left, the Celtics had the option of going for a 2 or a 3. The play started with 3 curling around the first screen of the stagger and cutting to the basket. If defended correctly, 3 will still have a 1 on 1 opportunity in the post and 2 can come off the pindown screen. The Cavs sent two defenders after 3 though, which got 2 the open shot off the down screen from 5.
