This is an on/ball set play the Portland Trailblazers ran vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves in their January 25, 2014 game. It takes advantage of Batum's passing skills coming off of on/balls. It also expoited the T-Wolves tendency to double Aldridge in the post while utilizing his interior passing skills to get an easy lay-up for Lopez.

Batum (the 3) came off of a downscreen from Aldridge (the 4) to receive the pass from Lilliard (the 1) at the left lane line extended.

On the catch Robin Lopez (the 5) set an on/ball for Batum. Aldridge cut behind his defender as Batum was coming off the on/ball.

On the pass from Batum to Aldridge, Lopez dove down the left lane to receive the pass from Aldridge (X5 went to double Aldridge). Matthews (the 2), Batum, and Lilliard were spotted up on the arc.
