About This Play/Drill

Here is play that I saw  Saint Louis run and I adapted it to work out of a box set. The few times that I saw SLU run this they always hit the first screener that slipped his screen. SLU ran this out of a 1-4 high formation and it can be adapted to work in that way as well. 

  • Basketball Play - 22
  • Basketball Play - 22
  • Basketball Play - 22
  • Basketball Play - 22

  • 2 cross screens 3

    3 pops to strong side wing

    4 pops out to rail

    1 takes 2 dribbles to right and then throws back to 4

  • 1 down screens 5

    2 spaces to the weak side

    5 pops to strong side rail

    1 spaces to weak side wing

    4 passes to 5

  • 4 and 5 go to set a stagger ball screen for 3

    5 slips his screen

    3 looks to hit 5

  • If no 5, 3 attacks off ball screen from 4

    4 pops to wing after ball screen
