About This Play/Drill

This is one of the set plays run by John Beilein in the Semi-Final Game against Syracuse.

The Wolverines made an adjustment to their Zone Offense looking to attack the gaps by spreading the zone out.

This is a very good play for an athletic 4 man who can put the ball on the floor.

    OPTION

5 (McGary 4) sets a screen on x5 for 4 (Robinson III 1) who looks to drive to the basket off the lane screen

2 (Stauskas 11) drops to the corner as x3 is looking to help on the roll of 5 (McGary 4) off the screen which forces x1 to help on any kick-out pass to 2 (Stauskas 11)

3 (Hardaway Jr. 10) reads the defense and either moves up or down depending on what x4 does on the drive
