About This Play/Drill

Here is a quick hitter that was run by Lionel Hollins and the Memphis Grizzlies this past NBA season. The wide pin down to dribble hand off action is very hard to guard and can either get you a good look at a basket or create a mismatch opportunity if the defense elects to switch. 

  • Basketball Play - Grizzly
  • Basketball Play - Grizzly

  • 3 cut the strong side corner

    2 screens down for 5

    5 pops to left elbow

    1 dribbles left and then passes to 5

    4 cuts to the short corner

  • 1 down screens down for 2

    2 and 5 dribble hand off

    5 cuts to the basket

    2 attacks off dribble
