Buffalo ran this action in its NCAA Tournament win vs Arizona. The Bulls added a little twist to the traditional back screen, ball screen action by using a PG to back screen for 4. This gives the lob an option and makes a bigger defender cover more ground. It also flows right into roll and replace action.
1 enters ball to wing. screens in for 4.
Ball is reversed to 4 who turns it to 1.
4 comes off 5's screen looking for lob.
5 sets ball screen, 4 replaces.
