This is a set that the Maryland Terrapins have gone with for many years and brought out at the 2019 NCAA Tournament. It's a great set for a team with multiple post players and a second option when a high-low post pass isn't available.
Out of a box set, a wing player or great shooter fills the wing and catches. The point guard cuts through to the strong side corner. This comes from down screens from players from the elbows.
4 curls around 5 and sets a screen for 5. As 4 rubs around 5, 5 flashes to the elbow to catch the pass. 4 should do his best to get his defender in chase mode by selling a cut to the high post.
Here, 4 and 5 are in a high-low opportunity as 4 should be sealing his defender under the basket. 1 and 2 should exchange positioning.
If 5 can't read the post, 1 runs to a handoff looking to attack, while 2 runs the baseline to the opposite side for a 3 point shot.
