Chin from the Princeton Offense ft. Standford Cardinal Women's Basketball
Video below shows DDKs from the Drift Screen.
More Princeton Offense Resources:
2-3 high "Chin" alignment with the Center (Player 5) at the ballside elbow
1 and 3 execute at DHO
4 and 2 exchange
3 passes to 2 who reverses to 4
3 waits until pass to 4 is made before cutting off back screen from 5.
First option, back screen cutter for a layup. Cut toward the far side of rim. If you don't get the ball, continue to corner.
"Pass, Pass, Throw It!" #PrincetonOffenseTips
After back screening for 3, Player 5 sets the "drift screen" for 2. Player 2 must set up the drift by walking in toward elbow, planting outside foot and pushing back off the screen. Player 5 seeks to pin X2 in. Screening angle for Player 5 is butt to TOC.
DDK = "Drift, Drive, Kick"
Player 2 has shot/drive decision on the catch. If they don't shoot then drive the double gap. 1 fades to corner to play the drive and kick game with 2.
#PrincetonOffenseTips - Don't drift any further than far edge of backboard! We want pass received near the same side lane line.
