Here are some basic options used by the Florida Gators in their Five-Out Offense.
Here's the DRIBBLE option where the Gators screen away without the ball reversal from REVERSE option.
There are some Motion Strong concepts in Florida's Five-Out offense.
DRIBBLE - when they get a screen away without the ball reversal. The trail post (P5) simply screens away from the ball.
1st Option
P5 screens away for P4, 1 plays to the cutter and...
...chases their pass for the hand back. 5 moves into position behind P4.
P1 goes right off the ball screen from P5 after the hand back.
2nd Option
Back to the away screen...
P5 screens away for P4, 1 plays to the cutter and...
...chases their pass for the hand back, but P4 does not deliver the hand back. P1 continues off back screen from P5. Lob opportunity.
If P1 does not receive lob, they continue to corner.
P5 separates from the back screen and sets ball screen for P4
Florida went to school on MIL. Running a lot of the same actions from 5-Out as the Bucks, including this one when the cutter accepts the single screen away. #5outsummer pic.twitter.com/mRgUpCSA0A
