In this diagram and embedded video we look at a drill to use in place of traditional layup lines. I hate when players get too casual and try to be too fancy in laup lines. Implementing this structure keeps more focus during this drill that every team in the world runs.

The line with the ball dribbles in full speed, jump stops, pivots to change the angle on the pass and delivers the pass. The line without the ball waits until the player with the ball has made a jump stop and SPRINTS in from half court before attempting to make a clean lay-up (without the ball touching the rim).
