About This Play/Drill

Drill #4 in motion offense teaching progression.

Players set up on four motion spots. Pass and Fill. On the slot-to-wing pass encourage a dribble fill after the cutter clears.

4 out motion alignment (slot-slot-wing-wing)

1 may pass to wing or slot (prefer slot). After pass 1 basket cuts to rim then fills
4 reverses to 3 and basket cuts
To reinforce the concept of taking the ball to the action, 3 dribble fills towards the slot, passes to 2 and basket cuts

4 fills empty spot
4 fills empty slot and 3 fills empty wing
2 can reverse to 1 (shown) or make the slot-to-slot pass to 4

After pass 2 basket cuts
4 could fill empty slot or 1 could dribble fill (shown, take the ball to the action!)
