About This Play/Drill

Throughout the Cincinnati/Purdue game, Cincinnati ran a match-up 2-3 zone. Purdue looked to utilize their size inside by sealing the middle man in the zone.

  • Basketball Play - Purdue Match-up Zone Attack

  • 1 reverses to 4, 1 cuts through the zone and exits to the short corner and then eventually spaces out to the 3pt line.
     

  • As 4 passes to 2, he cuts through the zone but replaces himself in the high post.

     

    As 4 cuts through, 5 circles underneath to the weak side block.
     

  • On the high post catch, 5 ducks in and seals hard.
     

  • 4 passes to 5 ducking in.
