Levy: Double Backdoor (Box Set) - FastModel Sports

About This Play/Drill

This is a quick hitter to hit the backdoor cutter. Your best shooter starts at the top of the key with the ball, and right side post must be able to handle the ball. The person who starts the play at the top of the key must generally demand the most defensive attention.

  • Basketball Play - Levy: Double Backdoor (Box Set)

  • 1 dribbles to wing and enters ball to 4 at high post.     

  • 3 backscreens for 1, and 1 cuts backdoor.     

  • 1 comes off the stagger screen from 2 and 5, 4 takes a dribble towards 1 coming off screen, reverses his dribble, and then hits 3 on the backdoor cut. (If helpside defense doesn't follow 1 through the screens and sit in the key, hit 1 coming off the screen or 2 can slip to middle of lane.)
