This is a play we ran at Illinois State to get an isolation look for our under sized 4 man against their bigger & slower 4 man. It ended up working out so he could just curl the screen to the rim for a lay-up but the play was originally designed for him to pop to the open side of the floor and play 1 on 1. The great thing about this action is there are so many things you can do out of the base iverson cut.
2 sprints an iverson cut off stagger screen from 5 and 4. 1 dribbles ball into front court.
Once 2 clears 4, then 5 sets screen for 4. 1 dribbles over and passes the ball to 4. 4 now has the entire right side of the floor clear for an isolation.
