Basketball Play - Mike Budenholzer Atlanta Hawks: Stretch Four Shooter Play

Mike Budenholzer Atlanta Hawks: Stretch Four Shooter Play

Scott Peterman 02/28/2015

Mike Budenholzer and his ball sharing, pass-happy scheme have teh Atlanta Hawks on top of the NBA Eastern Conference Standings. Coach Budenholzer says that he likes seeing his players get on each other when someone strays from his lessons on court spacing, pick and rolls, and pass after pass. The Atlanta Hawks were long know for isolation basketball. They had to change their ways when Mike Bedenholder was hired from the San Antonio Spurs. Now there is balance among all the five starters scoring in double figures. I really liked this Stretch Four Play for Kyle Korver of the Atlanta Hawks. Basketball Play - Hand Off Single/Double

Hand Off Single/Double

Basketball HQ 08/28/2012

This set was run by the Chicago Bulls in the 2006-2007 season. This set works best if your point guard can shoot the ball. The play is designed to get your wing in an isolation postion off of the hand off from 4, and if he can't create his own shot, he has the point guard coming off a double screen for a three point shot, or his shooting guard coming off of a single screen for a midrange or three point shot depending on how the defense is playing. Basketball Play - SLOB - Slice/Loop with Ball Screen & Counter

SLOB - Slice/Loop with Ball Screen & Counter

Basketball HQ 08/29/2012

This set was run by the Chicago Bulls in the 2006-2007 season. This set is designed to get you two isolation opportunites for your 2 man. Once he inbounds the ball and makes his procut to the opposite wing, and if he can not create off of that action, he has a big coming to set him a side ball screen. For this play to work, your 2 has to be able to score off of the dribble. See More

Basketball HQ 08/29/2012

This set was run by the Chicago Bulls in the 2006-2007 season. This set is designed to get you an isolation with your point guard coming off of a flat ball screen or a three point shot from your 2 or 3. After your point guard uses the flat ball screen, your 3 pops, your 2 man runs off of the double backside flare looking from the baseline pass from your point guard for a three point shot. See More
