Sebastian Wild 07/13/2014

This Baseline Out of Bounce Play was run ferquently by Davidson College a few years back, when Stephen Curry was the focal point of their offensive attack. It is a great option if you are looking for a quick "3" after a time out or need a open look in a late game situation. See More

Basketball Play - Regular Low (on make)

Regular Low (on make)

Sebastian Wild 07/13/2014

This "Regular Low" Action is our way of flowing from our sideline-break into our half court offense after conceding a score. It's a great way to change sides of the floor early in the possession and establish a game in the paint, as we are looking inside after a lob action for our trailer or create a deep post up position for our big after a cross screen off of movement. If run with pace and crisp screening, this is a very difficult action to defend. See More

Zipper Quick

Kyle Gilreath 06/11/2014

With 3 seconds left in the 3rd quarter of Game 3 of the 2014 NBA Finals, the San Antonio Spurs ran this sideline out-of-bounds play. As soon as 1 cleared Diaw’s shoulder he shaped up back to the ball immediately to receive the pass from Green. Green was able to get a shot off but Miami’s defense prevent him from getting a clean look and the shot came up short. See More

The San Antonio Spurs ran this sideline out-of-bounds play during Game 6 of the 2014 Western Conference Finals vs the OKC Thunder. Ginobili (1) did a tremendous job selling his cut off 2 (creating small separation) before sprinting off the screen from Duncan (5) for the catch & shoot 3-poiner. See More

Basketball Play - Iowa State "2"

Iowa State "2"

Dana Beszczynski 05/30/2014

The Iowa State Cyclones were one of the most exciting offensive teams to watch at times this season with a multi dimensional offensive attack. Here is a "quick hit" Lob play run for their talented athletic PG DeAndre Kane Perfect timing of the cut by Hogue eliminates the weak side help as Ejim steps up to set a back screen on x1 as Kane heads to the ring for the lob pass from Niang See More

ATO Need 3

Kyle Gilreath 05/15/2014

Down 3 at the end of Game 5 of the 2014 EC Semi-Finals, Jason Kidd drew up this sideline out-of-bounds play for the Brooklyn Nets. This was a great action which incorporated multiple screen the screener actions. However, Johnson (4) was unable to get a shot off as Miami deflected the ball out of bounds on the catch. See More

Basketball Play - ATO Loop

ATO Loop

Kyle Gilreath 05/14/2014

In the closing seconds of their Game 5 victory over the LA Clippers (2014 WC Semi-Finals), Thunder head coach Scott Brooks drew up this BLOB which resulted in Westbrook (1) being fouled taking a 3-pointer. Only down 2 points, I was somewhat baffled when Westbrook decided not to attempt the game tying lay-up but rather dribble out and take the contested 3-pointer (which resulted in 3 points because of the foul). Basketball Play - Floppy C SOB

Floppy C SOB

Daniel Murphy 05/13/2014

Got this play from Marist MBB HC Jeff Bower. Coach Bower has many years of experience in the NBA which can be seen in this play. Floppy is a way to create some movement before setting the ball screen. 1 cutting to the corner and 4 spacing to the slot allow great spacing which puts pressure on the defense. See More

In their Game 4 loss in the 204 EC Semi-Finals, the Washington Wizards ran this ATO action late in the 4th quarter in attempt to tie the game. This simple action is extremely effective because it gives your team multiple scoring options to counter any defensive counters. See More

Randy Brown 05/09/2014

Great set play using the hand back and on ball screen. 1 enters to 4 on wing and follow for hand back. 4 uses 5 to cut over top for possible lob pass as 2 fills right corner. 1 uses on ball screen by 5 to get into lane to score or bounce to 4 stepping in. See More
