Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers loved to run #24 Paul George off the Iverson Action or Zipper screens to get him open. Here after running off #21 David West's Iverson screen, he gets a ball screen from him. The key to this action is everyone clearing out on the ball screen as the 5 ducks in to the middle of the paint. With #21 West's shooting ability and #24 George's ability to create, score, and make plays more often then not the opponents in this case the Miami Heat will switch the bigs sending the 5 man's defender out to defend the popping 4 man. This leaves the 5 man with a guard dropping down on him. #55 Roy Hibbert did an unbelievable job of getting to the lane and sealing a smaller 2 man here. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGame 3 of the NBA Finals was all about the San Antonio Spurs' role players, so what better way to recognize them than by drawing up one of their many 3-pointers. After an impressive 3 quarters from Danny Green and Gary Neal the Spurs continued their hot shooting by ranning this stagger action to get Neal yet another 3-pointer. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAs tweeted by Kyle Gilreath, the Heat have been running an elbow clinic. His elbow diagrams are excellent and this is another option to add to your playbook. The Heat ran this in their 30 point 3rd quarter. Haslem stepped up big in game 5 scoring 16 points on 8-9 shooting. He hit shots from the short corner, got a catch and rip for a dunk and because the defense had to respect his jump shot is involved in the drive and kick game . See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother good 1/2 court set run against the 2-3 Zone by the Michigan Wolverines. This set utilizes the ball screen as the 3 looks to get in the paint and force rotation situations from the back defenders The Wolverines ran this set effectively and what makes this even more dangerous is the 3 pt shooting ability of Stauskas on the wing spotting up See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night in their exciting Game 2 matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, the San Antonio Spurs ran this pick & pop action to open up the floor with several options to score. As I have preached quite a bit recently, I love screening bigs into pick & rolls. What makes this play so special is that it allowed Duncan to pop to the elbow for one of his go-to shots. Additionally, the Spurs screened in for hot shooting Danny Green for a possible look from the deep corner. Not only did this screen for Green give them another scoring option, but it took some of the help out of the paint in the even Parker turned the corner to get to the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Ducks have a player in EJ Singler with good size at 6'6 and 3 pt shooting range. In this SLOB, the Ducks use a set of staggered screens to free up Singler for a 3 pt shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith this play have your 5 man set the ball screen and you best shooting/passing big do the replacing. As your 5 rolls and your 4 replaces the 4's defender may stay in help defense allowing an open shot for him. Work with your bigs on walking their defender down after setting the ball screen and sealing as the pass is going to 4. This play is from the 2012-2013 Wisconsin Green Bay season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFor this play you have to have a point guard that is a shooting threat coming off of the pin down. If your point guard is not a shooter, you can still run this play by bumping down 3, and not giving him a hand off. Practice with your 2 to properly use the flare screen, and have your 4 practice making the pass to 2 off of the flare screen. This play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen you have a versatile shooting guard like Markel Brown that can effectively score on the wing and in the paint, forcing an isolated defender to make a choice on how to guard him before he even catches the ball can be a good way to get an easy bucket. Look how Travis Ford got Brown isolated on one side of the floor with this double high screen and roll action and how it gets Brown an open lane to the rim. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play comes from the game between the Maryland Terrapins and the Kentucky Wildcats. This was a set Maryland used early in the game looking to free Dez Wells at the top of the key for a jumper. Easy to set-up and run, a great set for either a post-up 4 man or a strong shooting 3. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great drill to instill in your players how and when transition offense begins: with a rebound. The drill starts with 2 offense players and 3 defenders. The Coach passes to an offensive player who either (1) shoots a 3 or (2) shot fake and drive. Multiple things can be worked on just at this point. Shooting under pressure, close out, help on basket drive and offensive players attacking off dribble. Once the defense is in control of the ball, the drill is 3 on 2 to the other end. Whichever player shoots the basketball comes back as the defender in a 2 on 1 scenario. The two remaining players "trail" the play and become the two offensive players with the next group. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set was run by the Chicago Bulls in the 2006-2007 season. This set works best if your point guard can shoot the ball. The play is designed to get your wing in an isolation postion off of the hand off from 4, and if he can't create his own shot, he has the point guard coming off a double screen for a three point shot, or his shooting guard coming off of a single screen for a midrange or three point shot depending on how the defense is playing.
