The Keep Option is the 2nd option our 30 Series. If 1 sprints hard off 2's shoulder it will force 2x to help or a switch and free up 2 attacking off 5's ball screen. 30 Series: Chase Option

30 Series is a secondary break offense that is at it's best when flowing from transition before the defense gets set. If ran at full speed, with proper spacing and effective screens this offense will create high percentage shots for your team. There are four differnet ways to start the offense and it's all based on reads. We want our young ladies to use different options to keep the defense off balance. I first saw this presented by Dave Severns of the Los Angeles Clippers at the Northern Arizona University Coaches Clinic. This is known as the Pistol or Hurry Up Offense in NBA circles. Key points: guard (1) to big (5) screen helps ensure you can get the ball in to 5. Having shooters on the floor at the 1, 2, and 4 positions keeps the lane open for the 3 on the back cut. 5 needs to be a good passer. 3 must set up his man by cutting hard at 5 before back cutting.
