Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night during crunch time of Game 1 of the NBA Playoff Semi-Finals, the San Antonio Spurs were in a Need 3 situation versus the Golden State Warriors. Verteran Head Coach Gregg Popovich knew just the play to run. The Spurs executed this flex'ish screen the screener play to perfection to open up Danny Green for a 3-pointer. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBrooklyn ran this SLOB in game three against Chicago. 1 passes the ball inbounds and comes off 4's screen. 1 does not stop and continues to the opposite side of the court. 1 could have paused under the rim and used 4 and 2 and 5 as a single-double, or floppy. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Denver Nuggets ran this UCLA into a PIck & Roll action during Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs in their loss to the Golden State Warriors. What made this play so effective is Faried got a piece of Koufos' man on the roll which made Koufos' man late to help on the pick & roll. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSatuday night during Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs, Tom Thibodeau drew up this End of Quarter play to give his Chicago Bulls squad momentum going into halftime versus the Brooklyn Nets. With Belinelli having such an explosive defense, Boozer's man overhelped on the 2nd screen. This gave Boozer a free lane straight to the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis can be run as a play to end the half, game, or to get an open three anytime. 1 makes UCLA cut to the basket. He stops inside the block and cuts up the middle of the floor to catch and shoot a three. 3 and 5 set double screens and "close the door" and free him for a shot. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHouston ran this sideline out of bounds play for a layup with 1.9 seconds left in the second quarter of their 105-102 game 2 loss to the Thunder 4/24/13. This play involves a flare screen, then a stagger. The play worked beautifully and if you save this for a special situation could win you a game. Timing is crucial, as Delfino was on the move as Harden was recieving the flare screen. Also make sure 5 turns to rescreen for the stagger. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSet run by the Nets in the third game of their playoffs series against the Bulls. Running a screener off three screens makes their defender really work and can open up an open up driving lanes, rolls, and pops because of defensive breakdowns. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Knicks ran this play after a time out midway through the fourth quarter of their game 2 win over the Celtics. It involves a handoff, touch pass on the run, and a ball screen. If you have a small line-up, the Knicks were using Melo at the 4 and Martin at the 5, this is a great way to spread the floor and set up a middle ball screen. This is a very quick hitting play, so the timing of the passes and spacing to complete the passes is important. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set that is run often by the San Antonio Spurs. This play is great to because it gives Tony Parker the opportunity to create off a ball screen, an option for DeJuan Blair rolling into the post, and an option for a 3 pointer from Danny Green while his man is giving help on either the roll or the post flash. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis drill I got from Brad Stevens at Butler. This drill gets your player 5 different shots. You can use both sides of one half to get more players involved or use The Gun if you have one available. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBasic UCLA entry and ball reversal to 4 . On reversal to 3, look for possible slip to basket by 5 on down screen. 5 steps to corner, setting up back screen and lob to 4. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set that was run by Wichita State this past season from a box set. In this set, you have a good look to get your point guard a three point shot and if that doesn't get you a good look at the basket, it ends with an Americas play action that will hopefully get you a good look at the basket as well. Another great feature of this set is that it finishes in a 3 out 2 in formation so there is still great spacing on the floor. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOpening play run by Boston in the fourth quarter of their 87-71 game 2 loss to the Knicks 4/23/13. If you have a post player who you can isolate in the elbow area this is a good way to set it up. See More
