Favorite Send to FastDrawGeorgia coach Mark Fox has done a fantastic job turning around a Bulldog program that has been towards the bottom of the SEC for the better part of a decade. Now securing an at-large birth to the NCAA Tournament, Fox is finally getting some well-deserved recognition, in particular for his offense. Fox employs a lot of high post actions, raising his big men to the elbows and the three point line to open driving lanes and take away help at the rim. The multitude of dribble handoffs that Georgia runs keeps defenses honest, and the speed at which they run them makes them dangerous offensively. One of the most impressive sets I saw Fox and his team run during their second game of the year against Kentucky was a variation of the Chin offense that split into the shuffle offense. By moving the ball side-to-side several times, the defense was forced to shift and move by reacting to the player and ball movement. The shuffle offense is effective because it allows a post-up opportunity with great spacing; Fox’s set drops the trailer or the 4-man to the block for what can be a mis-match post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis week’s Plays of the Week come from 2nd year Texas A&M Associate Head Coach Glynn Cyprien. All 3 plays are all run out of a similar slot ballscreen entry. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA play from the opening week of the college season. This action is pretty common throughout the country, but I liked how this play has 5 setting a downscreen for 3 and then the second screen of a baseline stagger for the 2. You could finish the play in a hi/lo or side P&R See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawQuick Hitter that can be used for a 3ptr - 2 options to get a 3pt look See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHand off basketball plays are a great way to get the defense to miss communicate and break down defensively. Also if you have a great shooter this may be the only way to get them the ball if they are being denied. Sometimes a bad shot from a great player is better then a good shot from a poor player. Shooter needs to get his shoulders squared when coming off of the hand off on the shot. Come shoulder to shoulder on the hand off and don’t let the defender squeeze through. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's "Play of the Day" is an Elbow Set run by the Los Angeles Lakers in last year's playoffs, designed to get the ball in the hands of Kobe Bryant to execute a middle pick and roll. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 pushes 2 through on dribble, 3 screens for 2, 5 and 4 set double screen for 2. 1 hits 2 for shot. *NOTE: 3 can post up after screening if there is a position advantage, otherwise clear to corner. If shot is not there for 2, 5 sets flare screen for 4, then dives to rim. This sets up an ISO situation for 5 to set a PNR for 4 with shooters spaced out on the weakside. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDuring Game 1 of the 2013 NBA Finals, the Miami Heat ran this play versus the San Antonio Spurs after a timeout in the 2nd quarter. Placing 3 capable scorers (Wade, Cole, Battier) into a screen the screener pick & roll action is very hard to guard because the defense did not want to over-help and give up an easy look. See More

Righty drive to the cone at block, righty 2 dribble pull back, quick cross-over and finish at rim. Mix up the finishes: -Stronside -Weakside -Reverse -Floater -Rondo's (Make sure you repeat on both sides. Once you go through the lay-ups a series of times on both sides. Mix in some jump-shots. Favorite Send to FastDrawA nice side PNR set from Barcelona. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is single on ball followed by a twirl double on ball screen. 1 has to option to attack the rim if the inital on ball screen is set well. 5 can also "ole" the first screen to set up a better second double on ball screen. Weak side action keeps defense occupied and should spring a shooter on the wing. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavaliers ran this play for Kevin Love during the 2014/2015 season. A great option for a big man who shoots 36% from the 3 point line over his career. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawGreat set for post scorer. Starts in box set with down screen 5-1. As 1 catches 3 back screens for 4. Ball is reversed to 3 and dribbled to left wing. 4 screens across for 5 for lay up. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA quick hitter the Spurs ran for #4 Danny Green in the NBA Finals he takes his man down in Early Offense and can cut back door if available. If not he runs off the screen from 5 looking for a quick 3. If he can't shoot it, 5 turns right back around and they have a pick and roll in the middle of the floor. 4 rolls up. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis may be the Miami Heat's most successful offensive set outside of the ball screen. They do a really great job of getting Lebron James a catch right in the middle of the floor. He can drive, shoot, or wait for the action on the weak side to take place. The action is a big screen by 5 (Chris Bosh) on 2 (Dwayne Wade) so all three of the Heat's big 3 are involved. When the 5 man backs off to protect on 2's cut the ball gets passed to Bosh for a shot. If the 2 doesn't help the ball goes to the back cut for Wade. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is set out of the box set and the goal is get a shot off of the second down screen but once you have gotten this a couple times you can set them up and the use the counter. It is important to have counters because it helps keep the defense honest. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe undefeated Kentucky Wildcats have seen alot of zone this year from either outmatched or teams that try to slow them down. This is a great Lob set with 3 options that creates mismatches against a 2-3 Zone Defense. See More
