Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Knicks ran this play in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pacers at the end of a quarter. The play was designed to get a J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony ballscreen in space. The play was probably designed for Carmelo to pop off the screen and isolate on the wing; instead Chandler was wide open at the rim and Melo hit him for an alley oop. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great set if you have two above average skill players that can play off of eachother. It can also be an option read, and 5 can ball screen 2 off the zipper cut. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe 2013 NCAA National Champion Louisville Cardinals ran this play a ton throughout their NCAA Tournament run. They utilized #10 Gorgui Dieng's ability to be mobile and make open mid-range jumpers in every single round in the NCAA Tournament. After running a ball screen at the top of the key and throwing the ball back to the 4 man. #3 Peyton Siva would come down in the middle of the lane and set the down screen for #10 Dieng. As this was happening #11 Luke Hancock the Louisville 3 man would move into position to set a baseline screen for #10 Dieng. He now had the option based on the opponent's defense to come off the Gut screen from #3 Siva or the baseline screen set by #11 Hancock. In most cases he came off the gut screen and hit an elbow jumper. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play was from one of our early season non-conference opponents. The play call 'wide' was used against man to man defense. Best executed for programs that have a go to big man or versatile 4. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw"Floppy Slip" is good action to make teams pay for hard hedging as well as put a skilled 4 and back to the basket 5 in action together. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is the set the San Antonio Spurs ran in Game 5 against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. Having only 5 seconds to go 3/4 court on the sideline the Spurs went with a small line up. They put #9 Tony Parker at midcourt, and had #14 Gary Neal run off him first, and then #20 Manu Ginobili. With him setting two screens he was able to pop back to the ball and have a full court iso. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw1 starts with the ball, 2 and 3 on the wings, and 5 and 4 at the block on the same side. 1 passes to 3 then cuts to the opposite block and cuts around 2. 4 screens for 3 on the wing. If 3 kicks out to 1, 3 steps out to the top of the key as 2 screens across the lane for 5. As a second option, if 1 can't get the ball to the wings, he passes to 4 at the high post then cuts around 2's screen at the block. 4 drives middle and looks to score or pass to 1. Once 1 has the ball, 2 screens for 5 and 4 for 3. In option 3, 1 dribbles to the left pushing 3 across the lane. 4 screens for 5 who steps out to the corner. For option 4, 1 passes to 2 then cuts to the block. 3, 5, and 4 set a triple screen for 1 and for 2 dribbling into the lane. 1 cuts to the opposite corner for a shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawMike Budenholzer and his ball sharing, pass-happy scheme have teh Atlanta Hawks on top of the NBA Eastern Conference Standings. Coach Budenholzer says that he likes seeing his players get on each other when someone strays from his lessons on court spacing, pick and rolls, and pass after pass. The Atlanta Hawks were long know for isolation basketball. They had to change their ways when Mike Bedenholder was hired from the San Antonio Spurs. Now there is balance among all the five starters scoring in double figures. I really liked this Stretch Four Play for Kyle Korver of the Atlanta Hawks. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a transition man to man set. Look to get into it as quickly as possible before the defense can get set. It is a pretty simple action but it is a good quick hitter before the defense can get matched up. The screener needs to set a good screen and the cutter needs to come off looking to score. Players must sprint up the floor and get set, make sure that the screener doesn’t set a moving screen. This play is from the 2007-2008 Chicago Bulls season. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawStarts in 1-4 high set with entry pass to 4. 1 accepts flare screen from 5 to catch on left wing. 5 dives to basket after screening and 3 clears to right corner. On 4-1 pass, 5 back screens for 2 and receives down screen from 4. 5 looks for open jump shot or high low pass to 4 stepping into the paint. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn 2008, Jay Triano drew this play for a high handoff with Chris Bosh, who would likely pop out and set a ballscreen. Instead, the play worked out so that Bosh's presence with the ball would serve as a decoy for an off-ball player to cut backdoor and receive a pass from the man Bosh pitches the ball to. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis quick mis-direction action can give you several options for scoring quickly. If you have a good shooting point-guard, the early flare screen will provide him with an opportunity for a quick 3 in the possession. If the defense takes away the early 3-point attempt by your point-guard, the 3 man quickly sets a cross-screen for your 5 man, who should get a post-up opportunity on the block. The play finishes with a down-screen by the 4 man to give the 3 man an opportunity for a 3-point attempt after he cross-screens. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Spurs ran this against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals to create seperation on #21 Tim Duncan's side ball screen. #4 Danny Green while Duncan was trailing the play set his man up and set a screen for Duncan so he had a great screening angle on #9 Tony Parker. Everyone spaced the floor and Duncan & Parker played two man game. See More
