Running off of a stagger screen and a handoff makes life tough for a defender. This is a great set if you are either looking to get an open three-pointer or your star some space. Notice also what side of the floor they ran this on for D’Angelo Russell because he is a lefty.
1 passes to 4 at the elbow and cuts off of 5's back screen at the opposite elbow.
5 turns around and forms a stagger screen with 1 for 2. 4 does a dribble hand off with 2. This can either result in an open three-pointer, a mismatch, or space for 2 to attack.
