This early offense is designed to create a quick hit for a trailing 5, using a down screen spot up or back screen for a layup. It works on either side of the court. This action creates pick/roll, pick/pop, and drive/kick opportunities. We use this to get a quick look and then roll into our offensive set. The 3 is our best decision maker /shooter.

Wings cross to create movement.
4 slows down to set up a down screen.
5 dives to bucket and posts up. -
1 DHO with 2, who looks to 5 for paint touch or 3 off screen.

2 swings to 3 who looks for shot/drive/pass.
5 back screens for 1.
