Unlike a lot of teams that will run multiple BLOBs out of the same formation, Texas Tech uses a variety of alignments to get the ball inbounds off the baseline. One of those setups is a box formation.

- 2 and 4 move to the corners; 1 L-cuts up the lane; 3 enters ball to 1.
-
3 moves to weak side corner, 4 moves toward wing, and 5 comes to ball screen.
1 comes off ball screen and either hits 5 on roll or passes to 2 on fill-behind.
