In today’s diagram and embedded video we look at a drill to work on dribbling moves. This is a simple skill development, mostly used in the off-season and in small group or individual training.

  • Basketball Play - 3 Cone Loop Drill

Three cones are setup 8-10 feet away from each other in a straight line. Players make the specified dribble move with their strong hand at the middle cone, make a stop dribble after the last cone and then perform the specified dribble move with their weak hand on the way back through.

 

Dribble moves include: Simple crossover, setup crossover, inside out, hesitation, spin dribble, double cross, inside out crossover, etc
