NC State ran this play early in their Elite Eight game against Texas. The play starts with the decoy action of 1 looking for 3 coming off the stagger. This isolates 2 on the weak side to set up the backdoor. 1 then spin dribbles and hits 2 on the cut to the basket. Video clip below.
3 cuts off the stagger screen from 4 & 5.
As 1 spin dribbles, 2 sets up her backdoor cut.
1 passes to 2 for the layup.
